About

Laurier BSA is the Bangladeshi Students’ Association at Wilfrid Laurier University. We run festivals, socials and community projects on the Waterloo campus, for Bangladeshi students and anyone who wants to join in.

Our values

  1. Four students smiling at a lectern with a microphone in front of a purple wall, one holding a basket and a roll of red tickets.01

    Community

Most of what we do is getting people into one room. You don't need to know anyone to come.

  2. Two dancers in bright saris performing on stage at Boshontoboron 2025, in front of paper flowers, with the audience watching.02

    Culture

We celebrate Bangladesh's big days, like Boshontoboron and Victory Day. Everyone's welcome.

  3. Two volunteers planting seedlings in a raised bed at the Food Justice Garden volunteer day.03

    Growth

We give members room to grow: perform on stage, help run an event or join the exec, and build skills that last well beyond Laurier.

Help run the club

Be part of the team behind the festivals, the socials and the booth.

The exec plans the events, runs the budget and staffs the booth. You learn as you go, and we hire on a rolling basis, so applications are always open.
